The Festival

What better way to spend winter than to spend it with us! Frostbite Festival brings together artists, musicians, performers, and more to celebrate our great Canadian winter in the heart of Yukon! Join our fun-filled weekend of games, prizes, music, food, campfires, and more! Warm up with some delicious hot chocolate or mulled wine. There will be two outdoor rinks – one hosting a 3-on-3 hockey tournament and another hosting a free skate. For more information on events and programming, check out our events page.

Volunteers

We’re looking for volunteers to help out at this year’s Frostbite! If you would like to volunteer at Frostbite to help with cooking up feasts, setting up tables, and more to make our event possible, please get in touch with us! Frostbite Festival is only made possible with the generous support of volunteers. We are thankful for their hard work!

History

Frostbite Festival was first conceived with the idea of celebrating our Canadian winters. What makes winters in Canada great? Outdoor hockey and skating, tobogganing, a good ol’ snowball fight, and to bring it all together, music and food! At our festival, there is something for all ages to enjoy!

Goals

Frostbite Festival is dedicated:

  • To present Yukon to a wider audience
  • To encourage participation among the general community
  • To encourage volunteerism
  • To connect local businesses, organizations and people
