When Luke Doucet and Melissa McLelland announced they would not be releasing solo albums for a “long, long time” (Exclaim), the nation shed a collective tear. Little did we know that the newly-formed duo would release a hauntingly beautiful, gritty collection of new and re-worked songs under the name Whitehorse. Guitars, pianos, electronic loops, stomp boxes and telephones create an intriguing live show, with fans of both artists excited to witness this miniature supergroup’s debut in their eponymous location.
