The Working Dogs

Daniel Janke's new project The Working Dogs is not easily classifiable. Reminiscent of a past era, elements of blues and smoky cabarets intertwine with working class melodies. Featuring Daniel Janke on piano, the music is artfully rendered by multi-instrumentalists Dave Haddock, Lonnie Powell, Micah Smith, and Jordy Walker. Their first album, loosely based around the theme of the proletariat hero as pseudo film noire character, is currently in the works.
